I am sooo snowed under with work all of a sudden and deadlines are looming. Then the boiler and radiators decided to pack up. Cold staff, cold students, busy Starnado - so when asked if I can fix the other unit's laptop the answer should be NO!
...
so why the hell do I always say yes? Looks like work is coming home with me tonight.
To top it all, I miss the SGUF. I miss you guys. Where is an intelligent conversation that I can lurk behind?

This seems to be the price of learning how to fix things, that people constantly ask you do do so. I am the only remotely handy person in my family so anytime anything involving tools comes up, guess who's doing it.

I was completely successful in avoiding doing dishes for the whole time i lived at home using this technique. Only just recently, did I have a major dish organizing epiphany that made loading easier. |
